A Devotional Journey Through the
Psalms: Psalm 11
-Roy Lessin, Meeting in the Meadow
In the Lord I put my trust; How can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain”? (Psalm 11:1,7).

Don’t deposit your trust in someone’s heart who doesn’t know what to do with it. God’s heart is the perfect “putting place” for your trust. It’s the shelter to keep it in, the secret place to hide it in, and the secure place to keep it in. God will never fail you, never leave you, and never mistreat you.
· Every day you are in His thoughts.
· His eye is upon you.
· He made you for Himself.
· He knows you.
I know your heart.
I know you. I understand.
I am familiar with all your ways.
I see. I hear.
I know your deepest desires.
I know your voice. I listen when you call.
I know the plans I have for you.
I know where you are. I know your needs.
I know what you have walked through—
I know the valleys and the storms—
I have walked with you through each one.
I know your tears. Your joys. Your celebrations.
I know all you do in my name.
I notice. I care.
It pleases me when you trust in me.
Insight: Trust…it bolts the door whenever worry comes knocking and wants to come in.
Insight: Who has said, “Trust Me”?
He who is faithful.
He who cares.
He who is your loving Heavenly Father.
