Now Unto Him

Now unto Him-
Who is the love;
Who holds the hand;
Who knows the need;
Who helps us stand.
Who binds the wound;
Who mends the soul;
Who heals the heart;
Who makes us whole.
Who stills the storm;
Who rights the wrong;
Who stops the foe;
Who makes us strong.
Who brings the hope;
Who wipes the tear;
Who gives the grace;
Who holds us near.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

He Remains

God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever. Psalm 73:26 NLT2

When our energy is depleted, His power remains strong.
When our prayers grow silent, His intercession remains constant.
When our understanding is unclear, His way remains certain.
When our legs grow weary, His grip remains firm.
When evil seems triumphant, His judgement remains sure.
When all doors are closed, His pathway remains opened.
When things are shaking, His Kingdom remains unshakable.

The Lord Almighty

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:8 (NKJV)
There is power in heaven. All power! All power is in the Father. All power is revealed in the Son. All power is manifested through the Holy Spirit.
Nothing can add to God’s power and nothing can diminish His power. His power is perfect and His power is eternal.
The power of His word created all. John 1, Hebrews 1, Colossians 1 The power of His breath gives life. Genesis 2:7 The power of His gospel saves to the uttermost. Romans 1:16, Hebrews 7:25 The power of His blood cleanses the stain of sin. Isaiah 1:18 The power of His voice raises the dead. John 5:28-29 The power of His command stills the strongest storm. Luke 8:24 The power of His name brings the crippled to their feet. Acts 3 The power of His finger casts out demons. Luke 11:20 The power of His touch brings healing. Matthew 8:3 The power of His hand imparts blessing. Mark 10:16 The power of His promise means nothing can separate you from His love. Romans 8:38-39
"May God Almighty bless you.” Genesis 28:3 (NKJV)

What We Do

What we do is for the Lord…this is our mission.
What we do is in the Lord…this is our place.
What we do is unto the Lord…this is our motivation.
What we do is with the Lord…this is our source.
What we do is through the Lord…this is our strength.
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. [For all things originate with Him and come from Him; all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend to consummate and to end in Him.] To Him be glory forever! Amen (so be it). Romans 11:36 (AMP)

Storms

The Lord’s presence is more powerful than any storm. No wave can tower over His love. The howl of the wind must yield to the calming sound of His voice.

“No boat can sink when the Lord is in it” -Amy Carmichael

Matthew 8:23-27 (NLT)
Then Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with his disciples. Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.

The disciples were amazed. “Who is this man?” they asked. “Even the winds and waves obey him!”

BIG GOD, small god.
A BIG GOD can do anything, anytime, anywhere. A small god has endless limitations.
A BIG GOD has perfect wisdom. A small god is still trying to figure things out.
A BIG GOD knows our needs and meets them. A small god is forgetful and has few resources.
A BIG GOD tells us all things are possible. A small god keeps expectations low.
A BIG GOD has a plan, a path, and a purpose for every life. A small god leaves things up to us.
A BIG GOD never changes. A small god gets repackaged from generation to generation.
A BIG GOD is life. A small god is on life-support.
A BIG GOD is real. A small god has been created by human imagination.

The one, true, living God is a BIG GOD. A false god is small…in fact, a false god is no god at all.

I am the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. Isaiah 45:5 (NKJV)

Never Believe...

Never Believe… That God is unable. That heartache means all is lost. That your needs have gone unnoticed. That you are alone in the struggle. That there are no answers. That you will never smile again.
Day and night I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying, “Where is this God of yours?” My heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: I walked among the crowds of worshipers, leading a great procession to the house of God, singing for joy and giving thanks amid the sound of a great celebration! Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! Now I am deeply discouraged, but I will remember you— even from distant Mount Hermon, the source of the Jordan, from the land of Mount Mizar. I hear the tumult of the raging seas as your waves and surging tides sweep over me. But each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.
Psalm 42:3-8 (NLT)

The Victor’s Proclamation

God, You are my Warrior! The battle is Yours.
You reign. Rule. You are Victor.
You have never lost a battle, are the final word in every conflict, and conquer every foe.
You can deliver with many or with few, bring down a defiant Goliath or strike fear in a hostile army and send it to flight, flatten a walled stronghold or break the fetters off those who are bound.

You are almighty, no one is stronger; You sit upon heaven’s throne, no one is higher; You know all things, no one is wiser. You know exactly what to do and have a perfect strategy—when You move no one can stop You; when You speak no one can silence You; when You use Your two-edged sword no one can disarm You.
I am covered in Your mercies, clothed in Your righteousness, dressed in Your armor. I march under Your banner, wave Your flag, sing Your song, gird myself with Your truth, and abide under the shelter of Your wings.
You are my dwelling place, I am at rest;
You are my hiding place, I am secure;
You are my fortress, I am safe;
You are my tower, I am sheltered;
You are my shield, I am protected.
I advance in Your strength, stand in Your authority, and pray in Your all-conquering name.
Thank You, Mighty God, that the battle, the weapons, the strategy and the victory are all Yours—You are the One who will raise up a standard against the enemy when he comes in like a flood; will not allow any weapon that is formed against me to prosper; will put the enemy to flight—I proclaim it and believe it to be so in the name of Him who is seated at Your right hand—the One who triumphed over sin, death, and the powers of darkness—the One whose blood redeems, whose stripes heal, whose grace sustains, whose hands uphold, and whose love never fails—the King of kings, the name above all names, Jesus Christ the Lord!
'Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' "Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them-- Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing. For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.' Isaiah 41:10-13 (NKJV)

Next Steps

The Lord will go before you. Isaiah 52:12
Shepherds don’t lead their sheep from behind. When sheep travel they follow their shepherd, not the trail. When we face a fork in the road we need to know which road the Lord is traveling. WHO we see is more important than WHAT we see. Once we see the Lord we will also hear the Him saying, “I am the way. I am all you need. Follow Me.”
