A Devotional Journey Through the
Psalms: Psalm 3
Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around. Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God!…Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people (Psalm 3:1-6,8).
It is important to remember that anytime you hear the voice of the enemy speaking against God, you are hearing a lie.
The voice of the enemy is spoken to create fear, doubt, worry, and bondage within you. God’s voice always speaks truth. His voice is spoken to create peace, faith, trust, and freedom within you.
God IS your help.
God IS a shield for you.
God IS your glory.
God IS the One who lifts your head high.
God IS the One who hears and answers your call.
God IS your sustainer.
God IS your courage.
God IS your salvation.
God IS your blessing.
Insight: Because you belong to God, everything He is belongs to you!
