7 Prayers to Your Father, Part 1

Hello Friends!

As we turn to focus on our relationship with God, we will be featuring Roy's series "7 Prayers to Your Father" based on the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:9-13. May this remind us how Jesus invites and instructs us to pray to our Father, HIS Father, each time we come to Him. We pray our prayer life will grow in the coming days and weeks, leading to a fruitful and powerful relationship with Him.

7 Prayers to Your Father, Part 1

In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen (Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV).

1.  The prayer that calls God “Father.”

"Our Father in heaven..."

Father, because of the salvation I have found in Your Son, I am not an outsider or a stranger in Your family. I am Your child. Adopted and redeemed. Thank You for coming to make Your home in me, and providing for me, a home with You, forever.

You are a good, loving, and caring Father.

Whom have I in heaven but You, and apart from You there is no other.
