A Devotional Journey Through the Psalms: Psalm 54

He will repay my enemies for their evil. Cut them off in Your truth (Psalm 54:5).
 
Psalm 54 uses one word to tell us what has created the differences between the wisdom of the world and the wisdom of God. The word is TRUTH!
 
In the garden of life, TRUTH is the soil from which all Godly wisdom grows. Lies, errors, falsehood, deceit, and deception are weeds that want to choke off the life that TRUTH produces. Here is a list of Scriptures that will help us place the right priorities upon TRUTH:
 

• Know the TRUTH- John 8:32
• Practice the TRUTH- John 3:21
• Worship in TRUTH- John 4:23
• Speak the TRUTH- John 8:46
• Be guided by TRUTH- John 16:13
• Obey the TRUTH- Romans 2:8
• Do nothing against the TRUTH- 2 Corinthians 13:8
• Love the TRUTH- 2 Thessalonians 2:10
• Believe the TRUTH- 2 Thessalonians 2:12
• Welcome the TRUTH- 2 Timothy 3:8
• Be established in TRUTH- 2 Peter 1:12
• Walk in TRUTH- 2 John 1:4

Insight: God the Father is Truth (Jeremiah 10:10), Jesus is the TRUTH (John 14:6), the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of TRUTH (John 14:17), and the Word of God is TRUTH (John 17:17).
 
Insight: Walk where TRUTH takes you today—in your words, your choices, your actions, your attitudes—in all your expressions of love.
