My Morning Prayer: When You Sense Him Most

My Morning Prayer: When You Sense Him Most

When You Sense Him Most
- Roy Lessin

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort (consolation and encouragement), Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction) (2 Corinthians 1:3–4 AMPC).

It is often in the hardest place that we hear God’s softest voice; in the weakest moment that we find His greatest strength; in the loneliest hour that we sense His closest companionship; in the deepest sorrow that we feel His gentlest touch; in the darkest time that we see His brightest light; in the harshest rejection that we know His most reassuring embrace.

My Morning Prayer
-Marina Bromley

Thank You, Father, for speaking softly to me through the difficult seasons of my life. Thank you for being my strength when I am my weakest. Thank You for coming to meet me and sitting with me in my loneliest times. I praise You for Your presence and gentle touch in the times of my deepest sorrow. Thank You for being the brightest light to shine in my darkest times, and that when I feel the harshest rejection I can know Your reassuring embrace. Thank You for being my all in all. I love You and need You. Amen.
