Knowing His Best...
Let the morning bring
me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way
I should go, for to you I lift up my soul (Psalm 143:8 NIV).
Walking in Rest!
Rest in your relationships,
your work, your decisions, your daily walk. Rest in your mind, your spirit,
your emotions. Rest in the future, the day, the moment. Trust Him. Rest in your
salvation, your blessings, your gifts. Rest in His presence, His purpose, His
plans. Begin each day in the joy of forgiveness, the power of the Holy Spirit
and the hope of eternal life. Affirm that He is looking after you and has not
forgotten you. Trust Him for the details of each day. Be at rest as you drive,
as you shop, as you labor, as you play. Let His calm soothe you, His balm heal
you, His stillness quiet you. Know His best and walk in rest.
