My Morning Prayer: A Prayer of Remembrance

My Morning Prayer: A Prayer of Remembrance
-Roy Lessin, Meeting in the Meadow

Remember please, to praise God that we are still His children, and to pray these prayers over ourselves. His promises are true to us too!
-Marina

Promise
Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands.  Isaiah 49:15-16 NKJV

Prayer
Thank You, Father, that You are a God of compassion, that You feel deeply, and care greatly for my family. Thank You that through Your compassion we can know Your inner feelings toward us, sense Your tender touch upon us, see the riches of what Your heart holds for us, and experience the fullness of what Your love brings to us.

Father, it is amazing to me when I realize that Your love for my children is even greater than the love I have for them, that the depth of Your feelings for them goes even deeper than what I hold for them.

What a great comfort it is to my heart to know how much You care for them, and that they are always in Your thoughts.

May my children always be aware of how much they mean to You, how precious they are in Your sight, how tenderly You carry them in Your thoughts, and that their names are written on the palms of Your compassionate hands.
