Knowing His Best...

Walking in Rest!
The heart at rest has cut the
weights that keep the joy of the Lord from welling up inside. It is a heart
that not only serves the Lord, but serves Him with gladness...that not only
rejoices in good times, but rejoices evermore...that not only is grateful for
some things, but in everything gives thanks. The closer the heart moves toward
God the deeper it moves in joy—it is the heart that is furthest from Him that
is the most miserable. God is the Lord of happiness and at His side are
pleasures forevermore.
