Knowing His Best...
Dear friends, if our
hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him
anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases
him. 1 John 3:21-22 NIV
Walking in Rest!
An obedient life is a life at
rest. Obedience keeps you from the many personal conflicts that result from
wanting and seeking your own way. It keeps His peace in your heart, His
strength in your spirit and His balm upon your soul. Obedience frees you from
the need to defend your actions and protect your image. An obedient life is at
rest because it knows that to obey is better than sacrifice...that God's
approval is more important than man's...that the reward of the things gained
far exceed the loss of the things that have been given up.
