Jeremiah 33:3

Jeremiah 33:3
-Roy Lessin

Jeremiah 33:3 is a well known promise that invites each of us to pray. I believe it’s a vital promise for the time in which we live. Many people today are worried and fearful. Many wonder what to do. Jeremiah 33:3 tells us to pray.

“Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” -Jeremiah 33:3

Here are 3 things that Jeremiah 33:3 tells us about prayer:

1.  Prayer is calling upon God. God invites us to call upon HIM exclusively. No one else.
2.  ONLY God hears prayer and ONLY God can answer prayer.
3.  We will see God do great and mighty things BECAUSE we have prayed.

“No one, however long he has lived a life of prayer, is immune to the enemy’s attack on his confidence that prayer “works.” It is worth remembering, when delays tempt us to quit praying, that He is listening patiently. He is listening. He will act.”
-Elizabeth Elliot

As you pray-
Pray in the Spirit.
Pray to the Father.
Pray in the name of Jesus-
In His authority. In His victory.
Pray God’s promises.
Pray His names.
Pray with a thankful heart as you wait for Him to do great and mighty things.
