My Morning Prayer: Truths about Prayer

My Morning Prayer: Truths about Prayer
-Roy Lessin and Marina Bromley

Truths about Prayer
-Roy Lessin, Meeting in the Meadow

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (1 John 5:14 NKJV).

God’s understanding of your need is much greater than your ability to express it.

Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask Him! (Matthew 6:8 NLT).

Cares that come are not to be carried but released into God’s hands.

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 NKJV).

The power in prayer is not found in the eloquence of the one who prays but in the power of God who answers.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen (Matthew 6:13 NKJV).

My Morning Prayer
-Marina Bromley

Thank you, Lord God, for the many ways you provide for me every day. Thank you for including your will in my needs, and for covering me with your wings. Thank you for knowing what I need before I do. Thank you for caring for me and receiving my cares as I turn them over to you. Thank you for protecting me from temptation and delivering me from the evil one. Thank you for reminding me that my home is not here on earth, but in your kingdom, where your power and glory reign. Lord, I want to be with you for eternity! Maranatha! Amen!

Timely Tidbits of Truth 61, Refresh

Timely Tidbits of Truth 61, Refresh
-Roy Lessin, Meeting in the Meadow

This word gives us great delight. It brings to mind a cool drink on a hot day or the protective shade of an oak from the midday sun. Sin brings us into the dry, barren place, but refreshing comes when we turn back to the Lord and experience the delightfulness and utter joy of His presence.

The Lord’s refreshing also comes to us in our labor and in our service—bringing us rest, lifting our burden, refocusing our vision, invigorating our zeal, clarifying our purpose, quickening our step, and gladdening our hearts as we walk with Him.

Therefore repent and turn back, that your sins may be wiped out so that season of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19 HCSB).

MAY THE Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high [and defend you]; Send you help from the sanctuary and support, refresh, and strengthen you (Psalm 20:1-2 AMP).
